Introduction

Bioreactors are newly emerging technologies that allow cells to grow and produce valuable biological products under controlled conditions, and they are especially important for macromolecular drugs. Our stainless steel bioreactor is suitable for suspension and adherent culture of eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, and we provide a full range of products from 2L small pilot trials to large-scale production, which can be used for the production of biological products such as monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and recombinant proteins. Based on our advanced control system, the configuration complies with ISA-88 standards and provides a complete file system that meets GMP requirements.

Different Stirring Paddles

Different types of stirring paddles are essential for optimizing cell cultures and production in bioreactors, as each cell type has unique mixing and shear sensitivity requirements. Mammalian cells may be delicate and require lower shear stress to avoid damaging the cells, while microbial cells, which have cell walls to withstand higher shear forces, benefit from more vigorous paddles to ensure adequate oxygen and heat transfer. Selecting the appropriate stirring paddle design is crucial for achieving ideal growth conditions and maximizing productivity for each specific cell culture.
